Greg Taylor, BA, CFP

Greg grew up on Vancouver Island in the Comox Valley. After high school Greg completed a degree in Economics from Simon Fraser University. While at SFU he also played on the varsity football team and received the Bill McMahon award in his senior year for the scholar athlete award. This was an award which combined athletics as well as GPA.

Directly out of university in 1998, he started working for Freedom 55 Financial, with the Vancouver Georgia financial centre. After working approximately three years as an financial security advisor, Greg worked as a licensing training manager teaching the mutual fund licensing material and life insurance licensing material to new advisors in BC. The next role Greg held was as a New Advisor Training Manager role that helped advisors take the next step from having a license to starting and running a practice. Then in 2007 Greg became a Director of Business Development, responsible for selecting and mentoring advisors in their practices and helping them achieve their desired business goals. Now in his current role of Regional Director, Greg mentors and coaches other directors and the office team to continue to build a thriving office as well having a positive impact in the communities they live.

Greg also holds the certified financial planners designation.
